Why I choose this photograph: for me, the 6 of swords is the Böcklin's Toteninsel but the tarot format is really not appropriate for this masterpiece. You already guess that I'm fond of Pre-Raphaelites. Some photographers of the prictorialist vibe, like Cameron, tried to show the same atmosphere. The King Arthur' departure to Avalon matches perfectly with my romantic first idea.

Pourquoi j'ai choisi cette photographie: pour moi, le 6 d'épées est le Toteninsel de Böcklin mais le format tarot n'est vraiment pas approprié pour ce chef d'oeuvre. Vous avez déjà deviné que j'aime beaucoup les préraphaélites. Certains photographes du mouvement Prictorialiste, comme Cameron, ont tenté de retranscrire la même atmosphère. Le départ du roi Arthur pour Avalon correspond parfaitement à ma première idée romantique.
