VII. The chariot

Why I chose this stained glass : Joan was socialy nothing. God/faith called her to speak and lead the troops to victory. She became (after a long time clerical strugling) a saint/hero. Of course, her sad end is the wrong side of the chariot. A poor woman in the mighty's court ? Recklessness ! I chose especialy a stained glass for the idea of letting the light travel with and trought her... and a glass is easily breakable and could scatter.

Pourquoi j'ai choisi ce vitrail : Joan n'était rien socialement. Dieu/la foi l'a appelée à parler et à mener les troupes à la victoire. Elle est devenue (après une longue lutte cléricale) une sainte/héroïne. Bien sûr, sa triste fin est le mauvais côté du chariot. Une pauvre femme dans la cour des puissants ? Imprudence ! J'ai surtout choisi un vitrail pour l'idée de laisser la lumière voyager avec et à travers elle... et, aussi, parce que le verre se brise facilement et se disperse.
