XV. The Devil

Why I chose this painting : this 100% decadent illustrator have some inclination to satanic women. Elle (She) was my best candidate. For me, the devil is a part of the alchemical Nigredo linked to rotten material things that we need to see and explore before going back to the light. The nessessary contrast.

Pourquoi j'ai choisi ce tableau : cet illustrateur 100% décadent a un penchant pour les femmes sataniques. Elle était ma meilleure candidate. Pour moi, le diable fait partie du Nigredo alchimique lié à la pourriture, à l'altération des choses concrètes qu'il faut voir et explorer avant de retourner à la lumière. Le contraste nécessaire.
